Printed organic photovoltaic: how to harvest light from any surface thanks to printed electronics

Teacher: Dr. Antonio Iacchetti

Antonio Iacchetti was born in Crema (Cr) in 1984. He received the M.Sc. in electrical engineering in 2009 at “Politecnico di Milano”. He obtained his Ph.D. in 2013 in electrical engineering focusing his research activities on organic photodetectors for both visible light and ionising radiation detection.
From 2010 till 2015 he worked as Fellow Researcher at the Center for Nano Science and Technology (CNST – IIT@PoliMi) of the Italian Institute of Technology developing printing methods and architectures for both organic photodetectors and solar cell fabrication.
In 2016, together with OMET srl and a group of fellow researchers, he funded the startup Ribes Tech srl, a manufacturing company dedicated to the production of printed electronic device, in particular printed organic photovoltaics. Since 2016 he is Ribes Tech General Manager.
