L. Gammaitoni and H. Vocca visited the LMA laboratoire in Lyon on June 23 2010.
The Laboratoire des Matériaux Avancés (LMA) is an USR (Unité de Service et de Recherche n°3264) from CNRS and is directed by Raffaele Flaminio (in the pictures).
The visit was finalized to discuss a collaboration on the study of dissipative mechanisms (thermal noise) in thin optical coating layers.
