L. Gammaitoni presents recent work done at NiPS Laboratory, in collaboration with L. Catacuzzeno and F. Franciolini, of the Biology depatment of the University of Perugia, on energy harvesting from biological cells.
The work, perfomed at NiPS by F. Orfei, A. Di Michele and L. Gammaitoni, deals with the possibility to use a biological cell as a source of electrical energy for powering micro robots embedded in living organism.
